Jobs & Economy
As a businessman I understand how current government programs, such as Obamacare, are hurting job creation and productivity in this county. I will use my experience as a business owner to help bring a voice of sanity to Washington DC. As government grows more and more outlandish we need real world leadership instead of more political talking heads.
I will work to:
- Encourage business growth by cutting taxes, and over-regulation.
- Create a stable business environment by balancing the Federal Budget ASAP.
- Defend and fight for the Free Market System.
- Cut inflation by returning to sound money principles, and auditing the Federal Reserve.
Taxes & Government Spending
I will not only fight new taxes, but I will also actively look for ways to lower taxes on the hard working people of this state and nation. Your tax burden is too heavy. As well as cutting taxes, the government must also cut spending at all levels. It doesn’t take a businessman to know it is not a good idea to spend more than you take in.
I will work to:
- Reduce the size & power of the IRS, as well as consider ways to replace them permanently.
- Look for ways to lower taxes on the hard working people of South Alabama.
- Never vote to raise the Debt Ceiling. The government must learn to live within its means.
- Stop using taxpayer money to bailout private companies.
Faith & Family
I am a dedicated Christian, and I believe that all men are created equal and are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. We must always remember that our rights come from God and not from government.
I will work to:
- Defend life and the rights of the unborn.
- Support traditional marriage, and Alabama family values.
- Cut government funding of Planned Parenthood.
- Support generational families by killing the death tax.
Out of Control Government
From the NSA, to the EPA, and Obamacare it is clear that the federal government is out of control. I will fight to defend and re-gain the freedom that so many of our fathers fought and died for.
As your Congressman I will do my best to:
- Defend your privacy from government snooping.
- Fight tirelessly to repeal & defund Obamacare.
- Work to keep the internet free and unregulated.
- Work to rein in out-of-control regulations and government departments.
National Defense & Border Security
It is clear that our current foreign policy and immigration reform are in need of conservative leadership. The tragedy that happened in Benghazi and the “Immigration Reform Bill” are good examples of this.
If elected to congress I will do my best to:
- Stop giving taxpayer’s money to countries that hate us.
- Develop domestic energy sources, so we can reduce our dependence on foreign energy.
- Secure our borders from illegal immigration.
- Stand for the rule of law – no amnesty for illegal immigrants.
Constitution & The Bill of Rights
I want to be known as a champion of the Constitution. I believe we must return to the founding principles that made this nation great.
I will:
- Support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.
- Stand strong for the 2nd Amendment, and our right to Keep and Bear Arms.
- Uphold States’ Rights that are guaranteed in the 10th Amendment.
- Work to restore the erosion of our 1st and 4th Amendment rights.
